Meet the JOLT Fitness Team

Brad Hodgetts

I'm Brad, a certified Personal Trainer with over 15 years of experience in the industry and the founder of JOLT Fitness.

 

I was drawn to the fitness industry after completing ten years of service in the Australian Army as an Infantry soldier. It was my experience in the army that led me to create the JOLT Fitness community in 2009, based on an inclusive, fun, respectful and positive family environment. 

 

I fell in love with fitness and especially lifting weights after it changed my physical and mental health in 2005. From being fit in the army to then putting on a lot of weight due to injuries, lifting weights brought me not just a change of body but a respect for myself and the process of health and what it can bring to your life.

 

Fast forward to 2022, and I closed my business in Essendon after 13 successful and gratifying years and moved my family to a little island at the bottom of Victoria (Phillip Island).

 

I have that burning desire and passion for helping people in their 40's, 50's and beyond discover the power of exercise, especially Strength Training and Fitness Boxing, to make a change for a better quality of life and independence as they age, I would love to chat about your goals.
